Research areas

Polymer chemistry: As the challenges continually change, an intensive research in synthetic polymeric materials is essential. Therefore, Ritter group's work is focussed on microwave assisted polymer synthesis, cyclodextrins in polymer synthesis, enzymes for polymer synthesis, materials for dental technology and photosensitive materials.

Thematic issues

Prof. Ritter edited the thematic issues in the Beilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry:

Spatial effects in polymer chemistry

Superstructures with cyclodextrins: Chemistry and applications
