Research interests

Prof. Vaccaro's main research interests are:

i) Use of safer, recoverable and reusable reaction media

ii) Development of heterogeneous and recoverable catalytic systems tailor-made for being used in safer media and in flow reactors

iii) Manipulation of biomass derived chemicals to access novel fine chemicals

iv) Development of flow protocols to reduce the waste production and energy consumption in chemical transformations
