The Thematic Series "Lipids" is open for submission
We currently have open a Call for Papers where you can submit your most exciting, original research to the Beilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry (BJOC) as a peer-reviewed article for the Thematic Series "Lipids". Please find more detailed information below. Note that we accept submissions in all other fields of organic chemistry on a continuous basis for our regular BJOC journal stream.
BJOC is a platinum open-access journal (submission fees are fully funded by the Beilstein-Institut, all articles remain open to the public), publishing high-quality peer-reviewed articles that are archived and indexed in all major repositories, search engines and databases – complete with a DOI specific to your paper. You retain the rights to your paper according to the Creative Commons Attribution License agreement. To ensure only high-quality articles are published, each article undergoes an initial quality check, plagiarism check and peer review.
BJOC began publishing theme-grouped volumes (Thematic Series) in 2006 and has demonstrated great success with more than 60 Thematic Series published to date. Note that the articles of this series will appear together on the Thematic Series webpage, but will be individually published in the regular journal stream as soon as they are completed – no waiting on the entire volume to be accepted before your article is available online!
Before submitting your article, please carefully review the Instructions for Authors and consult the Beilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry Editorial Team if you have questions regarding submission and processing of your article.
This thematic series will cover all aspects of the chemistry and biochemistry of fatty acids, triacylglycerides, waxes, phospholipids, sphingolipids, saccharolipids, polyketides, sterol and prenol lipids (isoprenoids). Contributions about lipoproteins and protein-membrane interactions are also welcome, if the lipid part is in the focus of the work.
