ORCID iD - A step forward for best Open Science practices

During the submission process, the submitting author will now be asked to link their existing ORCID record to their manuscript or create an ORCID record if they do not already have one. All co-authors will also be sent a link where they too can amend this information. This is yet another step forward towards best practices for Open Science and author attribution.

What is ORCID? An ORCID iD is a unique and persistent digital identifier that distinguishes you from other researchers and reliably connects you with your research contributions and affiliations, to help ensure that your work is properly attributed and credited (learn more).
