The goal of this symposium is to identify and discuss translational trends and associated barriers in selected fields of nanomedicine that have particular promise for disruptive biotechnologies in the next decade. The contributors will be an interdisciplinary group of scientists ranging from engineers and basic scientist in nanotechnology to clinicians.
