Research areas

Our main research goal focuses on understanding the intrinsic physicochemical nature of catalytic chemical reactions accompanying energy production and storage based on a new class of functional nanomaterials. Thus, our interests include design, synthesis and integration of a new class of functional electrocatalysts composed of well-defined low-dimensional nanoarchitectures that could be utilized to energy-related applications, such as water splitting reaction, CO2 reduction, fuel cells, batteries, and capacitors.
