Dr. Barbara Hissa becomes EDCH advocate

We are proud to announce that our Managing Editor Dr. Barbara Hissa becomes an advocate of the European Diamond Capacity Hub (EDCH).

The EDCH, a program under OPERAS, provides essential services for diamond open access publishers and the technology and service providers who support them. Its central goal is to strengthen the diamond open access community in Europe by supporting European institutional, national, and disciplinary capacity centers, as well as publishers and providers, in their mission to perform diamond open access scholarly publishing.

As an EDCH advocate, Barbara collaborates with librarians, editors, policy makers, researchers, and community builders to boost the diamond open access ecosystem and increase the reach of and awareness toward EDCH activities across Europe. She acts as a crucial link between the EDCH and these professional communities, working to promote initiatives, foster collaboration, and support the growth of sustainable, equitable, scholar-led publishing with a focus on STEM-related communities.
