Appeals

Authors may appeal directly to the editor who handled their manuscript and/or to the managing editor (managing-editor-bjnano@beilstein-institut.de) if they regard a decision to reject the manuscript as unfair or unjust.

Reporting errors in published manuscripts and concerns

Anyone may directly contact the corresponding author of an article to request clarification or to report suspected errors. Anyone may notify the managing editor (managing-editor-bjnano@beilstein-institut.de) about severe errors or issues related to published articles if editorial intervention is required (e.g. allegations of scientific misconduct, conflicts regarding authorship, occurrence of peer-review manipulation, undisclosed conflicts of interest, or legal issues).
