Dr. Barbara Hissa attends the E-MRS Fall Meeting 2026

Our Managing Editor Dr. Barbara Hissa will attend the 2026 Fall Meeting of the European Materials Research Society (E-MRS) in Warsaw, Poland, from September 14 to 17, 2026.

Barbara will give a talk titled “Fixing the drains and getting the gains: how diamond open access and responsible research assessment can improve the current publishing landscape”. She will introduce diamond open access (DOA) publishing and explain that it naturally supports FAIR principles and responsible research assessment.
