Hypercross-linked polymers (HCPs) are
synthesized using a Friedel–Crafts hypercross-linking reaction via knitted perbenzylated monosugars by FDA. Three perbenzylated monosugars Sug-1–3 having similar chemical structure were used as monomers to tune the porosity and PSD. The SSA values of the obtained porous polymer are around 1000 m2 g−1.
