Dr. Marc Kielmann Bolten attends POLYMAT Spotlight 2026

Meet our Managing Editor Dr. Marc Kielmann Bolten at POLYMAT Spotlight 2026 in San Sebastián, Spain, June 29–July 2, 2026.

Marc will present a poster on BChemXtract, an open-source tool developed at the Beilstein-Institut to solve a critical problem: chemical structures locked in static PDFs. He will show how BChemXtract transforms chemical structures from ChemDraw graphics into machine-readable data.

POLYMAT Spotlight is a series of international workshops initiated by POLYMAT and the University of the Basque Country in 2016. This series seeks to explore the frontier of macromolecular materials.
