Research areas
Dr. Dagdeviren conducts research in atomic force microscopy (AFM) and time-resolved scanning probe techniques to probe charge-carrier dynamics, defect-mediated processes, and energy dissipation at the nanoscale. His work focuses in particular on combining spatially and temporally resolved measurements with advanced force reconstruction and custom instrumentation. The overarching goal is to develop quantitative, reliable AFM methodologies that address fundamental questions in energy materials, photocatalysis, and sustainable material design.
Thematic Series
Dr. Dagdeviren is co-editing the thematic issue At the cutting edge of atomic force microscopy.
