This thematic issue is generated as a testament to the ever-increasing relevance of the chemical and computational glycosciences in biology, recognized with the 2022 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. We aim to bring together a collection of primary Full Research Papers, Letters, as well as Review and Perspective articles in the broad topic of chemical glycobiology, with further emphases on carbohydrate chemistry and computational glycosciences.

Still open for submission.
